It is candy central around here. Saturday we went to a street fair in Piedmont where we trick or treated at stores along Piedmont Avenue and ended up at beautiful Mountain View Cemetary for lunch with a few hundred kids and adults in costume. It was a happy feeling seeing all the happiness and life amongst all of the quiet peace that usually is in a cemetary.
On Sunday we went to College Avenue and did some more store trick or treating over there. After the girls naps, we carved pumpkins.
The next day on Halloween we went to Maisy's friend's house for a block party. It was a really nice gathering with lots of food and fun for kids. It's amazing how small Berkeley is. We saw lots of people we knew there just from different activities in town.
We left as it was getting dark and headed home to do some trick or treating in our neighborhood. Uncle Steven was awesome and stayed behind to pass our candy to our treaters.
Me and Maisy on our treating route.
The girls loved Halloween. Maren loves trying to say "pumpkin" and Maisy is one brave little girl. Not much scares her. Can't wait for next year! Ps. If you want any candy- we've got tons!
Love, Todd, Becky, Maisy and Maren
