Spoon Rocket: Fast fresh meals delivered right to you in minutes

Spoon Rocket: Fast, fresh, inexpensive meals delivered right to you in minutes

We've often thought on busy nights when no one feels like cooking or going out to pick up food, how can we feed ourselves? Pizza. Twenty-five dollar a pie, pizza, that's not so good for you.  We've since discovered Spoon Rocket that delivers hot, fresh, high quality food of perfect proportions to your door for only $6 a meal.  A busy family's dream! Each day their head chef, David Cramer, creates one meat dish and one vegetarian dish.  They are open for delivery from 11am - 4am as long as they still have food.

Impressed Todd.  Like the way I put it on a plate like I had cooked it myself?

It’s the easiest sign up process ever and within 4-20 minutes you can have your meal delivered to your door (well curb, they request you meet them at the curb).  You order online, pay online, tip online, so there is no money exchange or tipping when they arrive.

We ordered beef short ribs with root vegetables and it was very tasty!  I don’t think I could have made that meal for less than what was charged!  Both Todd and I were very impressed.

To make the deal even sweeter, with every meal purchased they donate one meal to a child in need.

They use only natural, free-range antibiotic and growth-hormone free food and source produce from local farms.  What’s not to love!?

They currently deliver to Berkeley and Emeryville.  Spoon Rocket is coming to Downtown Oakland Nov. 1.

Have you tried Spoon Rocket?  Are there other amazing things like this going on around the country?  Please share in comments, I'd love to hear about them!

Be sure to subscribe via email, follow on Facebook & on Pinterest so you don’t miss out on any of our adventures. As always, thanks for reading.

I'm a part-time work from home, full time stay at home mom to two daughters and an Australian Labradoodle puppy. We are enjoying our last year before big girl school, playing with friends, swapping childcare to get the job done and getting crafty when we can fit it in. We live together in a wonderful community that we are truly thankful for and proud to be a part of. It takes a village and this is ours.
